Overview
Tomorrow’s Future Tech (“we,” “us,” or “our”) publishes articles about emerging technology. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit tomorrowstechfuture.com, why we collect it, and the choices available to you. By using this site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
Comments. When you leave a comment on an article, we collect the content of the comment along with your name, email address, and website (if provided), plus your IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
Contact form submissions. When you use our Contact page, the information you submit (such as your name, email address, and message) is sent to our team so we can respond to your inquiry. We do not use this information for marketing without your consent.
Cookies. Like most websites, we use cookies for basic site functionality — for example, remembering comment form details so you don’t have to re-enter them, or recognizing that your browser accepts cookies.
Log data. Our hosting provider automatically records standard log information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and performance purposes.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to operate and improve the site, respond to comments and inquiries, protect against spam and abuse, and understand how our content is being read so we can cover the topics you care about.
Cookies
If you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in a cookie for your convenience on future visits. These cookies last for one year.
If you visit our login or comment pages, a temporary cookie may be set to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
Third-Party Services
This site uses Jetpack (by Automattic) to power features such as our contact form and comments. Jetpack may set its own cookies and process limited data as described in Automattic’s Privacy Policy.
We use Google’s Site Kit to understand aggregate traffic to the site, such as which pages are visited and how people find us. This may involve Google Analytics setting cookies and processing data in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Commenter avatars are provided through the Gravatar service. An anonymized hash of your email address may be sent to Gravatar to check whether you have an associated profile picture. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public alongside your comment.
Embedded Content
Articles on this site may include embedded content (for example, videos or social media posts). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if you had visited that other website directly, and those sites may collect data about you, use cookies, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content.
How Long We Retain Data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically rather than holding them in a moderation queue. Contact form submissions are kept only as long as needed to respond to and resolve your inquiry.
Your Rights
If you have left a comment or submitted the contact form, you can request an export of the personal data we hold about you, or request that we erase it. To make a request, please reach out via our Contact page. Some data may need to be retained for legitimate administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Children’s Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We’ll update the date below whenever this page is revised.
